Learning Focused in a new initiative in the Smyrna School District as of last year. Through the use of a learning map, students' learning is focused on particular concepts followed by lesson essential questions correlated with state standards as well as standard-based vocabulary. Learning Focused pushes the use of peer collaboration, graphic organizers, distributed summarizing, and meaningful activating activities that compels student participation from all. With proven results, our curriculum team believes we are one step ahead of the rest!
